Network
Option Permits the user to attach the Image MASSter hard drive
duplicator to an Ethernet topology network. A master drive can
then be
connected to the Image MASSter and loaded from a set of drive
images that reside on the network. It also allows the master to
be copied up to the network for later use or as a
backup.
Database
This provides a logging of all drives processed through the Image MASSter hard drive duplicator. This database can be saved to the
built-in floppy drive or to a network when combined with the
network option.
Multi-MASSter
This option is a major money-saver. It allows the user to store
multiple software loads (up to 10) on a single
master hard drive. This option works with DOS, Windows 95, and NT
(FAT)-based , & NTFS software loads. The Multi-MASSter option
eliminates
numerous master drives and excess drive handling, saving time and
money.
Notebook Sleep
Support
Many notebooks have a mode in which the computer goes to
“sleep”. An area of the hard drive is usually
designated as the place to store the current state of the
computer so that when it “awakens” it will be in
the
same place. This option will correctly create this sleep area on
target drives regardless of the type of notebook from which the
master drive came.
Driver Diagnostics
Software
This option provides an extensive suite of diagnostic software
tools to examine, and repair faulty disk drives. Runs as a
standalone application on the Image MASSter hard drive
duplicator.
WipeOut
This Image MASSter Hard Drive Duplicator option is designed to completely “wipeout” or
"sanitize" all data on the target disk drives. WipeOut was
designed to meet the U.S. Department of Defense specification DOD
5220-22M regarding the sanitization of hard disk
drives.
